Prithviraj to turn director

He started it off as an actor in Mollywood before making his presence felt in Kollywood and Bollywood. Later he became a producer and dished out movies such as 'Urumi' and 'Indian Rupee'.

Now, Prithviraj, the 'Mozhi' man, is gearing up to leave his impact as a filmmaker. His maiden directorial venture will be in Bollywood, and it will be a remake of Malayalam hit 'Veettilekkula Vazhi'.

Though he confirms that he has plans to remake 'Veettilekkula Vazhi' in Hindi, Prithviraj says but it will take some time for him. "There are no immediate plans in the pipeline," he adds.

Recently, Prithiviraj came out with an explanation as to why he did not do any film in Tamil recently. "Because, I want to be pat of meaningful movies such as Mozhi, Abhiyum Naanum and Raavanan," he said.
