Veteran comedian 'Ennatha' Kanayya passed away yesterday evening (August 7). Kanayya was 87 years old. Kanayya has been a part of films from 1950; he forayed in cinema through 'Ezhai Padum Padu' and has been a part of more than 250 films including Nam Nadu, Naan and Moondru Ezhuthu.His dialogue 'Varum... Aana Varadu' in 'Thottal Poo Malarum' brought the house down and is one hit comedy till today.
Ennatha Kanayya passed away on August 7 in his abode, after having his regular lunch and post-lunch nap. His wife Raajam passed away about four years back. He is left with 2 sons and 4 daughters.
